Trauma Informed Care Course
Time: 6:00-9:00p.m.
Instructors: Hannah Sikorski and Leigh Kallechey
This training will take a look at the impact of trauma on the developing brain, what trauma can look like in early childhood, and how it can impact learning. This training will provide some introductory tools for teachers to use with children in their care who may be impacted by trauma, with a more in-depth focus on trauma-informed classroom strategies in Part Two. The focus will be on infants and toddlers and their families but will relate to all young children and families.
